So I almost forgot to do my blog entry for the day. Look at that, day 15 of 365 and I almost forgot!! Craziness! Anyway, I’m lying in bed, typing this up on my laptop. I was working on a new logo for wekeli because I decided that I haven’t really found what I’m looking for. I would hire someone else to do it but I don’t feel like spending the money and I’d like to think it’s something I can handle. I think I’ll throw up the options here and get your opinions on them. Why not, right? The worse you can tell me is that they all suck. The best would be getting some feedback to move forward with. No woman is an island and I think it’s especially noticeable in me. I want to be reminded at how good I’m doing. I mean, I know when I’m achieving my goals but I love it when other people are seeing that I am, too. It’s a show off thing, I think. Then again, don’t we all have that need to feel worthy and accepted by the masses?

Today was a lazy day. We didn’t really do anything except hang out at home and chill out. Z was kind of spazzing, so it was… interesting. Worked on some photos and generally just ran amok around the house. Think I’ll just continue relaxing and then head to bed.

By the way, threw a ton of really really old photos up on Flickr because I wasn’t linking them on my website and they’re older than dirt. But still, I figured that they’d be of some value to family and friends. So, enjoy them!

I got back from shooting a wedding reception about an hour ago and I’m completely dead now. I’ll be editing photos from that shoot tomorrow most likely. But tonight, I’m going to bed. The above photo was taken right outside the church.

There was a day of rest for me. This year I am going to try something I don’t think I’ve ever done before. I’m going to post a photo (maybe new, maybe a favorite) & I’m going to write a post. At least one post. For those that have sent email or called me or texted me or otherwise been trying to get a hold of me these past few weeks, I have been insanely busy and haven’t had the time. It’s not that you guys aren’t worth it. You are! And I love you dearly! It’s just that I’ve been swamped and stressed and well, you wouldn’t have wanted to talk to me anyway. So, think of this as my public apology. But this isn’t going to be the only one. Nope, each of you shall be hearing from me rather soon via some sort of method. And there will be sorrys and thank yous. And photos! So, onward and outward with the lovely new year!

I’m a happy 29 now and I’ll get to writing my new year resolutions this week. Yep, even that has been delayed. Have a fantastic day!

My Christmas list is fairly short this year, but at the top of that list is a fancy new bike & a snazzy new website for Wekeli Photography. Ok, the bike doesn’t have to be fancy. I just want one to get me to and from work. As for the website, I want the new Sadie template from Blu. The basic version is $100 and I want to add $100 for the client proofing area. Maybe the Santas in my world will get together and buy it for me! That would rock!
