Happy Dog!

Happy Dog

Shouldn’t we all be so thrilled with simple things? :) I have the day off from work tomorrow but I’m finding that it’s probably not going to be a real day off. I’ll be spending the morning at the dentist and then the afternoon doing who knows what. I should be working, heaven knows there’s plenty of items left undone currently. But I don’t want to! I want to goof off. That’s not very productive, now is it? :) Anyway, I’ve got nothing much to report here. Simply a boring day with a boring evening. I am not complaining! ;)

Caterpillar Love

I just adore this photo! Too cute, isn’t it? :) There are plenty of others from the session and it worked out well. I am thrilled with the prospect of even more adorable photos next weekend if it goes even half as good as this weekend. :) Spent the evening working on them. Not bad, about six hours of time (which is great!) and there were tons of breaks in between. It was nice to be productive, though.

Tonight looks to be cold! They say it’s gonna be around 47. Which isn’t terribly cold but it sure feels like it is! I miss the warmer days. Of course, like I’ve probably said before, remind me when it’s hotter than Hades, that I was whiney when it was cold out. :P

Super Bowl? Where?

Ursula's Orange Roses

It’s Super Bowl weekend and of course, being in Arizona, people are a bit nuts this weekend. The parties have been happening all week through out the valley (mostly in Snobsdale, because that’s where the rich mainly live). And yet, I’ve been mostly unaffected by it. I don’t really care who wins or loses. I’m just not into football. Can someone explain to me the draw of the game? I don’t understand how people can just lunge into each other, chasing after a ball. I guess it’s not worse than soccer in that sense. Except I find soccer players more attractive than football players. Maybe that’s it for me. Maybe if I found football players attractive, I’d actually want to watch their games. As it is, the only things worth watching are the commercials, the half time show, and the cheerleaders. :) It’s all about the entertainment, right?

And into February we go…

Flame
(MUCH Better Larger)

It was a quiet night. Had chinese food and contemplated life. Okay, not really. :D However, I did put some plans in action for my weekend. My thought it that I should take some time tomorrow and try to finish up some more random photos. I’ve got a lovely section on my Picasa where I mark all the photos that I should do something with. And I got really creative with the name and called it… “Do Something with These”. Original, I know. :) You’re jealous of my writing talent now, aren’t you? :D

I also need to get everything worked out with organizing my photos. I’ve been doing a little bit every day in an attempt to get them all wrangled the way they’re supposed to be. I have been doing something similar with my music, too. As much as I love my iTunes, I found that when I switched computers, I was unable to keep my music organized like I had hoped. So, I’m going through, getting rid of duplicates (who knew they took up so much room) and then tagging them, too. I think this will make my life mucho easier later on, once I get a system in place. The hardest part about organization is getting through the initial parts of it. I think that once it’s done, it’s much easier to maintain. Similar to weight loss, in that respect.

Anyway, I have a session coming up for both this weekend and next, which I am so terribly excited about. :) They’re going to be mainly Valentine sessions, with a little something extra thrown in. :) I’ll post photos when I get them finished! :)

Pretty pretty!

Ursula's Orange Roses
(Better Larger)

I know that the guys probably get tired of the whole lot of flower shots I take, but I think they’ll get over it! :) Hope everyone had a fantastic day. I was swamped again at work. But at least I got to leave work on time, head to the printer, proof the newsletter type thing for work, and generally goofing off this evening. I had to take a semi-relaxing evening. I think I was killing myself a wee bit. As I mentioned on Twitter, I think I’m overdoing it a little bit with managing my stress and it’s just getting to me. Just a wee bit. ;) Anyway, I’m heading to bed early tonight, going to enjoy a little bit of some pogo games and then actually try to get enough sleep to want to get up early in the morning for some exercising. I think the exercising might be the key to energizing me in the morning hours. :)
