Shattered Sun

How cute is the above photo? I just think he’s the most adorable child. This was taken prior to the session, actually. He was just standing there, looking at the ducks and I moved very fast to get this shot.

Anyway, my day was something else. I took the day off to go to the dentist. The news was not what I had hoped for. I have this infected lump inside my mouth on my jaw. It’s basically just below my cheek bone. We thought maybe he missed a root when he did my root canal, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Turns out that I probably have a hairline crack. It’s just big enough to be infected, more or less. It bites. I’m off to see the specialist about it on Tuesday. Wish me luck on that one! I was really hoping that it would be taken care of in one visit, but egads, that’s my luck!
