Buy Handmade this holiday season!
Thursday, November 29th, 2007I can tell you from experience that people love to get handmade items. Or at least they fake it when they tell me how much they appreciate it. I can tell you that I simply adore it. I wish for it. As a matter of fact, I’m hoping that more of my friends and family will go that route this year. Why? Because there’s a bit more heart and soul in the handmade gift. There’s something special tucked into it. Something fantastic that defies description. And if you aren’t a believer yet, peruse Etsy and enjoy the imagination & beauty that is there. And maybe, just maybe, you can make the Pledge to Buy Handmade. I don’t know if I can promise to buy everything handmade. However, I know that I’ll be doing my usual and making gifts for my beloveds.
