You know what I hate?

Smart comment spammers. I’m lazy and I don’t want to have to deal with spam on my sites. Smart comment spammers suck.

    So Akismet isn’t that great, huh?

    I wouldn’t say that Akismet doesn’t work. I would more point to people getting around it better. However, I do want to point out that I’ve have to manually moderate/delete maybe 150 spam comments since putting Akismet on this site and it’s caught 69,664 as of 11/20/07 6:50PM. That’s a pretty small percentage that actually gets through.

    Which extension do you use to reply to comments and make yours appear right underneath the comment you are replying to?

    Actually, it’s not an extension or plugin, though I wish it was! It’s simply a bit of CSS coding that I threw in here. I stole it from Luka (back in the day & with her permission, of course). I open up the comment in question, type in < div class="me" >yada yada yada< /div > and it works out beautifully for me. Obviously, I stylized the div in my CSS. If you want the CSS for that, just hollar and I’ll share. :)
