On the hunt for a new camera bag

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

But not for me!! Well, maybe for me, but I’m pretty partial to my current backpack. I got it for Christmas and I just love it. It looks something like this:

Anyway, J is wanting to have a camera of his own and he’s going to be needing a camera bag to go with it because you know how it is. I don’t think we can share every lens that I currently own, so he’ll have to have some of his own and that will take up room that my bag won’t have.

So of course, on my quest for photography stuff, I find Naneupro which has a gorgeous selection of bags. The products shown are extremely well presented, with a ton of photos and even more information. If I had any hesitation of what kind of item I wanted to buy, this site definitely supplies enough information to lay my worries to rest. Who knew there were so many nice options, too?

Anyway, for J, I’d like to get him a bag of similar style, much like this one which is oddly similar to the one that Rachel currently uses. I personally dig it because it has two compartments and is supposed to have increased air flow, which is a big plus here in Arizona. But I think he’d prefer a camera case like this one because it looks like it can hold a lot more stuff and be personalized more. I don’t know, there are almost too many choices… What do y’all think? Anything on that site that jumps out to you?

Otherwise I’m off to pick his brain and find out what he thinks! :)

The Unclutterer is on the loose…

Seriously, Unclutterer is a lovely site. Perfect for people looking for tips to continue on the quest to less crap. Sadly, I’m removing items and bringing in photo items, so I don’t think I’m doing better. I might be breaking even though. ;)

More than meets the eye…

I completely loved the new Transformers movie. It was mindless fun. :D Really, everything that a good summer blockbuster should be. There were chase scenes and fighting scenes and goofy scenes and even romantic scenes. :) Just LOVED it. Oh, and yeah, the plot is kind of lame. Then again, I didn’t go see a movie based on toys for its educational value. :P

Go see it. It really is so much fun to watch. I’d go again. :)

A penny saved is a penny earned…

I’m finding that there are two things in my world that are currently eating away at what little spending money I have. One is photography props and the other is clothes for the Terrors. Thankfully, with a little bit of scouring these handy online shopping coupons, I’ve found a few ways to help myself out! I caught some Back to Basics deals (I’ve got my eye on 35% off the foam blocks!) and some Old Navy savings (because we all know how much I adore Old Navy!) Seriously, school is only 2 months away and the Terrors are just growing like weeds. I need money saving deals where ever I can get them, so thank goodness for places like Coupon Chief for helping me stretch my bucks!
