They say I’m different…

I don’t have much to say since I’m currently bogged by the whole bead sorting event (which is almost complete, thank you very much), so I’ll leave you with a little item that I’ve been meaning to post for a while. :) See below for the results of some testing I took for work. It helped pinpoint who I am at work. At least, that’s the idea. I think it’s fairly accurate and I can tell you that my coworkers felt it was extremely accurate. Anyhow, enjoy!

Denise likes to set her own pace. When others try to rush her, she feels threatened and may balk. She looks to people for support and inner-satisfaction as a way to reach her personal goals. When the time is right, Denise can stand up aggressively for what she believes. She is non demonstrative and wants to be seen as an “anchor of reality” in a “sea of confusion.” Denise can be open, patient and tolerant of differences. Her natural quality of being nonjudgmental is of great strength. Because she is receptive and listens well, she excels in gathering information. She is family-oriented. She may go to great lengths to ensure the “happiness” of her personal or work family. She doesn’t resist change as much as she resists being changed. She needs to be an active participant in situations that will impact her work. She likes to start and finish activities. Others who work with her know they can depend on her. Denise is a good team member, but she will, if forced, go it alone. She usually develops strong attachments for her work group and family. Denise often thinks over major decisions before acting. She is good at analyzing situations that can be felt, touched, seen, heard, personally observed or experienced. Her motto is, “facts are facts.” Once she makes a decision, she can be organized in carrying it out. She can be sensitive to the feelings of others and is able to display real empathy for those who are experiencing difficulties. Denise uses logic to assist her decision making. This tendency is helpful to others in her group. She prefers to plan her work and work her plan. Others may find it refreshing to have her on their team. When challenged she can become objective, searching hard for facts and figures. This may be her way of defending her decisions. She is persistent and persevering in her approach to achieving goals. Denise remains aloof from active participation in unfamiliar groups. She will talk more, however, in a group of people she trusts and has known for a long time. She tends to be possessive of information that is, she doesn’t voluntarily share information with others outside of her team. This may be a blessing, or a curse, to her superiors. She may guard some information unless she is asked specific questions. She will not willingly share unless she is comfortable with the knowledge she possesses about the topic. She usually is considerate, compassionate and accepting of others; however, on some occasions can become stubborn. Stubbornness surfaces when her ideals and beliefs are confronted. Denise likes to know what is expected of her in a working relationship and have the duties and responsibilities of others who will be involved explained. Communication is accomplished best by well-defined avenues. She is somewhat reserved with those she doesn’t trust or know. After trust has been established, she may be open and candid. Sometimes she will withdraw from a verbal battle. IF she feels strong about an issue, she may retreat to gather her resources and then return to take a stand! She is more motivated by logic than emotion. To her, logic represents tangible research.
