Organizing the Beast… Err, Beads

My mother in law gave me a wonderful Christmas gift for my beads. It’s not a bead organizer, but it is a wonderful tool box, full of compartments (with lids!) and enough space (I think) to hold probably 80% of my actual beads. I don’t think there’s enough room to hold all the strings, wires, etc, but that’s ok. I can live with that.

However, this is the mess I am starting with. Some time ago my Terrors knocked over the fishing tackle box that I’m currently using and mixed a good portion of my seed beads up together.

Yes, I’m insane. If you ever want to effectively torture someone, asking them to sort seed beads by color would definitely be the way to go!

    Uhh, too much time on your hands…? :P

    LOL, not really. Probably not enough time on my hands to really do it. But I love crafting and I’m tired of feeling like I’m not creating any more. I miss that part of me. So, I’m bringing it back. But with me, everything starts with organizing. You should see my camera bag! There’s a little place for everything there, too. I just like being able to find items when I want them on a project. :)
