Yes, I said that to J today. I have too much stuff. I know that we’re looking into a house and it’ll have more room but I don’t want to be one of those people who has more room and then more stuff to fill said room. So, I told him that I want to take the time to weed through our things and actually part with the items that we have no use for. It’s just not worth keeping items just because “you never know”.

Honestly, between him not being a clean freak and me being a pack rat, it’s amazing that we don’t live in mountains of stuff as is.

Did you know that there’s a cool contest going on where you could win an iPod, DJ gear and designer duds from VideoDetective and Music and Lyrics? That movie looks simply adorable, by the way. I can not wait to see it. But I digress, lol! So, the contest seems simple enough. All you have to do is go to the page, type in some information, hit submit and viola, all done! I don’t usually join these things but I really really want an iPod.

I listen to dance music. Yes, you heard that right. I can’t deny it. I blame Brad! He’s always listening to the stuff and now I’m all hooked on it! I love the beat and how much it makes me want to move. So, I dance around the living room, lol. I was telling J tonight that it would lovely if I could just record the music channel on the TV instead of going through iTunes and trying to figure out what I wanted to put on a CD. I’m thinking it’s possible but improbable to record the channel onto the computer and therefore onto a CD. How does J respond? “Duh, Denise, of course you can, I have a program for that.”

Of course, now that he’s opened his mouth, he’s going to have to make it happen!

Okay, now that you are as enthused as I am, here’s the attraction for me. I’ve always loved The Doll Palace and somewhere on my computer I have a doll that I created there way back when. Back then there weren’t nearly as many options to choose from but there were still a ton of choices. I can remember spending hours goofing off with the Doll Maker.

Anyway, enough about me. Really, the site rocks my socks. The art is amazing and I simply can not imagine the time & effort that goes into all the little details on the outfits. It’s like a Future Fashion Designer’s dream! Could you imagine a girl designing outfits for the dolls and then making those a reality? That would be awesome! Talk about positive effects, lol!

Anyway, check out TDP’s Dress Up Games area for nifty avatars and such. I wish I had a little girl to goof with on these. Carrie’s little munchkin is just a wee bit too young, I think. I guess that leaves it up to me to play with it solo! Oooo, and maybe I’ll send this to my teenage sister because I bet she’d get a kick out of it. She’d totally get into the fashion games side of TDP. And I’m sure she can use the doll on her myspace. How adorable would that be?

Get your brake lights fixed!!

Okay, I feel better now. I was driving home yesterday and this stupid person in front of me was driving with busted tail lights. And I mean fully busted. No brakes, no turn signals, nothing. I hate it when people are irresponsible like that. Why would anyone in their right mind drive a vehicle that could put them in potential danger? I just don’t get it.

Random side note: Yesterday was beautiful here! Blue skies and nicely warm. Today’s forecast: Rain. Blech.
