Totally slacking off for two days!!

I was on a roll and doing so well! And then the holiday party hit and I didn’t have time to get on here and make any posts. I spent Friday night shopping for the perfect outfit (including spiffy boots). I did finally get it but it amazes me that at a size 10/12, I’m fat in the retail world. Well, at least in the stores that are for my “age group”. I’m a large or extra large in those stores but put me into a place like Dillard’s and I’m a medium. How does that work!? I wish, now more than ever that there was a universal sizing system for retailers. That would definitely make it easier on us when we’re shopping.

And last night, I got drunk. Yep, holiday party and I was drunk off my butt. Everyone was drinking and a few of us did get drunk but none of us did anything that would be regretable. J was nice and played the Designated Driver for him & I. It’s not his usual role, but he really really wanted to see me drunk just once. Supposedly, I’m a funny drunk. I guess. :P Anyhow, I remember everything I said and did, so I think I’m golden. We’ll see how it all shakes out on Monday, lol. :D

    Yeah, that’s what he said. He said that it’s not really what I say so much as how I say it and how I react. I guess I over-exaggerate my actions and stuff. Like last night, we were ready to leave and the Boss’ Wife said that we had to wait and do a shot with her. So, we waited and did the shot but she wouldn’t tell us what the shot was until after we had downed them. I downed my (because you can’t sip a shot, you look like a sissy) and went “WOW!” louder than the rest, I guess. LOL.

    Lol talkative is one way to put it. Imagine someone talking to you in a child like playful tone, holding absolutely nothing back, and going from tangent to tangent. We’re talking A to S to Y to B to R to Z etc tangents. It was adorably funny. Will definitely have to get her drunk again. :lol:

    I must say I was impressed though. Despite being as drunk as she was she knew her and understood her limitations. It’s always refreshing to her someone say “I don’t understand how anyone could drive with the world looking like this.” :)

    ha! My little niecey got drunk?? Joey says “She did????? With who” ha ha ha he can’t even fathom it!! :D
