Carlsen Twins

Friday, May 12th, 2006

Again, I’m amazed at modern medicine. These beautiful twin girls were separated today and have a 90-95% of leading normal happy lifes. I love seeing stuff like that in the news. It’s just reaffirming that we can come together and heal such complicated issues. Simply wonderful. :) If you have a chance, check out the pictures & animation. Very nifty!

We finally hit 100

Guess that means summer is here! And to think that some parts of the country are still getting snow! I’m jealous! (Not that I would move or anything.)

RealAge Revisited

Wednesday, May 10th, 2006

Back in May of 2003, I did my RealAge profile and found that I was older than my chronological age. Today, I did it again and found that I’m actually younger than I should be! I’m exactly 27.4 years old but my RealAge is 26.2. According to RealAge, I’m actually younger now than I was three years ago. That’s so weird. But very cool. :) It must mean I’m doing something right. Anyone else fairing well?

Advent Children

Monday, May 8th, 2006

Jayson and I watched Advent Children tonight. It was very interesting and I was only half paying attention. I think that I’ll actually sit with the Terrors to really enjoy it completely. I just love the Final Fantasy movies. I hope they continue to come out with more. It’s just amazing to see everything work together and the story lines are exactly what you’d expect from FF.

The only downfall is that it makes me want to dust off Final Fantasy Tactics and play it all over again! ;)

Hand Double?

Sunday, May 7th, 2006

I was at perusing the upcoming summer movie offerings and found this nifty one called The Lake House. Interesting concept (time travelling notes) with two of my favorite actors (Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves). The only thing I found odd was the following item:

Keanu's Hand Double

Does anyone really need a hand double? The same thing was done during The Princess Diaries for Anne Hathaway’s “messed up fingernails scene”. Except, that poor girl didn’t get a credit for it on IMDB! And besides, do we really have to have hand doubles? It just seems kind of silly to me.
