Finally done!

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

Dude, it only took me forever, but I finally will be able to leave my paper planner at work from now on. It’s only going to have work items in it! Woot! Yes, this means that everyone’s contact information, birthdays, etc, are now in my phone. Do not ask why I kept putting it off. I just did. I guess I didn’t feel like the drudgery of it. It’s definitely not the most glamorous side of getting a new phone/PDA thing. I found these old phones from a couple of years back, too. I’m going to recharge them and pull any old information off of them before I recycle/throw them out. I wonder if there’s an easy way to delete all the information off them prior to that? Otherwise I guess I’ll be deleting those one by one, too. Ugh!

More than just a day off

Monday, May 29th, 2006

Truly, I think we forget what our remembrance holidays are for. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t have those get togethers and BBQs. Just remember to take a moment and talk with your kiddos about it. Tell them why we celebrate Memorial Day. And don’t forget to mention what a great sacrifice our military members have made so that we can enjoy our freedom.

Ooops, where’d my title go?

I am currently lying in my bed, under a sheet with the fan on. I would be in heaven except for these horrible red, dry, itchy eyes. I don’t know exactly how I got them but my eyes were feeling wonderful when I got up this morning. As the day progressed, they got significantly worse. I’ve been putting ice on them, drops in them and generally keeping everything away from them. They hurt terribly. I don’t want to go to wor tomorrow but I have payroll to finish. If tomorrow were Wednesday, you’d find me calling in sick. Ugh. I’m going to put ice back on them.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I did absolutely nothing and loved every minute of it! :D

I hope everyone else had a blessed day, too.

Stick It Baby

Saturday, May 13th, 2006

Yeah, you heard me! For Mother’s day, we went out tonight. I know, it’s early. But we had prior obligations tomorrow night and didn’t want to miss those. So tonight we went out to dinner and a movie. The movie was Stick It which was a ton of fun. Usually J & the Terrors just kind of go along and end up hating it but this time they were laughing through it just like I was. It’s a goofy movie, so don’t go see it if you’re looking for something earth shattering or anything. :) And I love the theme song by Missy Elliot. It’s just got a funky beat that makes me want to hop up and dance around. :)

And for those keeping track, yeah, I broke my diet today. Guess I’d better hit the gym tomorrow to help compensate for the movie popcorn and Suki Hana dinner! :D
