If I was a Mammoth, I’d be sexy

Ellie: What about me is attractive?
Manfred: Your… butt?
Ellie: What about it?
Manfred: It’s huge!
Ellie: That is really sweet!

Today is my Unofficial Anniversary since it was the date I was married but not the date I had my wedding. :) It’s been an insane 8 years. I can’t say that I’ve always enjoyed the ride but it definitely has kept me guessing!

And, as the above quote shows, I really enjoyed Ice Age 2. And really, with my big butt, I would totally rock as a mammoth. ;) And Jayson, being the smart man he is, said that I’m sexy as a human. :D

Hope everyone had an absolutely wonderful Easter! I know I did. :)

Darren (of Rachel & Darren fame) is taking the Terrors to the Zoo tomorrow! I’m so glad that he offered! I think they’re going to really love it because they’ll all have cameras and it’ll be a lot of fun for them. :) Darren probably made my day more than he knows. :D

It’s the 12th…

And I have nothing in particular to write about. I could write about the news, but it’s been pretty dang depressing on the local front. I’d write about work, but that’ll just get me in trouble. I guess I could do the whole “only for logged in people” thing, but I’m feeling a might bit lazy at the moment. Actually, I will tell you about my job. I’m the office Go To Girl™, which mostly means I spend my days fixing things. One chick at my work describes me as the One Who Knows Everything. This is not true. I just make it a habit to know enough to keep the office running and keep me in my job. On the other hand, I’m also the Local IT Tech because our corporate offices aren’t local and there has to be someone on hand to troubleshoot. I got that part of my job by default. I actually enjoy that part of my job but I can’t take it higher in the company because I have no desire to move to the east coast. I’m also the Rule Enforcer at work. There are rules. They exists for reasons that are mostly incomprehensible but they do exist. This means we should follow them. I think. Mostly, I just like how well things run when you actually follow the rules and protocol. I think I’m one of two in the office that feels this way. I also do the scheduling and payroll and what ever else they throw at me. You know that line that’s at the end of a list of your responsibilities stating “And anything else we ask you to do”? My office took that to heart and then some. I don’t mind really. I think. Well, I guess I do mind. But how do you tell them no when you can help and it’ll be quicker and easier to help. My rambling is complete. Thanks for reading!

Personal Identity

Tuesday, April 11th, 2006

It seems so odd to read that Ali sold his name for 50 million dollars. I guess it shouldn’t surprise me because celebrities do it everyday for different products and brands. It’s all about using your image to sell something, whether that something be you or some other item.

I guess if I became famous, I’d use myself as a stepping stone to a higher bank balance. I think that’s one of those situations that I couldn’t answer unless I was facing it. As it stands, the only people that would make money off my identity are the thieves and even then, they wouldn’t make much.

I couldn’t resist

Bunnies!
