Return to Sender
That’s what you get when you go back to being “old fashioned” and giving out cards to mark holidays and special events. The return is huge! It starts conversations and revives friendships that were languishing. It helps you remember the wonderful things you love about your friends & family. And it makes you feel good. If I was a less honest person, I’d say that I enjoy it because it’s a nice thing to do but really, I enjoy it because it makes me feel wonderful. 
I’m starting the Terrors on the path of sending cards and letters and gifts. I’m hoping that they’ll continue it long after I’m done helping them do it. On a side note, I wonder if there’s an actual day dreamt up by the card companies called “Send a Card” day or something. Would be quirky but considering we have a day for everything else, I wouldn’t be surprised.
