Lack of Olympic Spirit
I truly am lacking it at this point in the games. I just can’t seem to get into the Olympics this year. It’s really got nothing to do with the tape delays from Torino or Michelle Kwan not participating or so many American participants having issues this time around. No, it’s really just something that isn’t catching my attention. It’s a complete competition for my time and that’s one of the items that just doesn’t make the cut. Kind of sad, isn’t it? I want to be thrilled and excited but it’s like the Super Bowl. I just can’t seem to be overly excited about it anymore.
