Getting into Focus

I went through a training class today called Focus: Achieving Your Highest Priorities. It was highly useful. Actually, more useful than I truly thought it would be. I figured that I’d go, get used to the whole planner thing and go from there but continue doing things the way I currently do them. I don’t do them wrong really. I’m just not really effective with my time. We all have the same amount of time, I know. It always feels like I’m “running out of it” though. I’m not. I’m just not making the correct choices. Today’s training can be very good for me if I can continue applying it instead of leaving it in the seminar.

The speaker, Dave Knapper, says we have to give it three weeks and then tell him how we’re doing. He actually wants us to get in touch with him should we encounter problems or need that extra little bit of help with applying what we learned. I love having that kind of back up! Speaking of Dave, if you’re going to take this course, see if he’s the one doing it. I guarantee that you’ll be amused and entertained the entire time you’re there. But it’ll be attention getting amused and entertained, not wasting-your-time entertainment. Trust me. :)
