Damn, weekends are short
Sunday, August 14th, 2005We’ve had a good family weekend really. Friday there was a baby shower for a gal that I work with. It was very nice and wonderful and held at Monti’s on Mill. I have a lot of pictures that Jayson took, but I haven’t downloaded them to fix them up yet. I might post them online but I haven’t really decided yet. Putting up work related things doesn’t appeal to me too much because I figure that you’ve got to be opening yourself up for something, ya know?
Anyway, on Saturday we went and saw March of the Penguins with the Terrors. It was amazing! And ironically, everyone in our family loved it completely. 
I really want to see Wedding Crashers like a dear girlie did but I definitely can’t take the kids on that one. Could you imagine the questions they would have? And to be honest, I don’t think I’d mind them seeing it if I could see it first and be prepared for what was in it. That’s one of those movies that we probably won’t see for a long time. If you’re interested in The Penguins though, go see it. Very well done and it doesn’t relaly have any slow parts.
As for today, we just vegged around the house goofing off and napping and such. With school here again, the weekends have really become family time around here. More so than ever, I guess. Pretty soon Sam will be wanting to hang out with his friends and we’ll be put to the side. I’m not really looking forward to that but I can already see the changes that are happening in him. He’s definitely getting older all the time. One day, I’m going to blink and he’s going to be an adult! Okay, enough rambling. Off I go again.
