And the hot water returns
Thursday, July 21st, 2005Thankfully I woke up this morning to a nice wonderful hot shower. And I tell you, I am so grateful that it did return. Today was the HR Paperwork from Hell day. I went through and sorted all our HR paperwork so that it was up to date and ready to go for any new hires. It was a mess. And I wasn’t thrilled to spend my whole day doing that. Most of you haven’t seen my desk, but there’s not a whole terrible lot of room and well, I covered every available inch of it with papers. I would’ve done it in the conference room except then who would do the rest of my job? On days like today, it makes me wish that I had someone around to help me out. Just a little minion that I could call every once in a while to lend a hand. Thankfully the evening went well and the children have gone to bed. Once they’re out, maybe I can get some sleep, too.
