Shattered Sun

On Wednesday, I got my license back after not having it since Dec/2001. Don’t ask, you really don’t want to know. Needless to say, I’ve got it back, so I’m good to drive again. And on Friday, I got the keys to my new apartment. It’s not super large nor is it super fancy, but it suits our current needs of needing to cut expenses somewhere in order to buy other things we need. I.E. downpayment on a house at some point. You know how expensive that is. It’s worth it though. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself.

First, I left my phone on the bus and paid $50 to replace it. Today, I left it on my desk at work. I swear, my memory is seriously needing help. I don’tknow what’s gotten into me recently. Anyway, I’m watching Tivo’d CMAs, which is nice because I’m FFing through the commercials. Always nice to cut a three hour program to two or less. I’m also playing Escape Velocity which now has a Windows version. It’s an extremely fun game to play. Too much fun, I tell you. TangentI think the CMAs are the only awards show you can actually get away on stage in jeans/t-shirt. Not very dressy but it’s definitely sexy.

I’m not enjoying doing payroll at work. It’s so time consuming. I think I just need to get my groove with it. Right now it’s just irritating because I’m at the front desk doing all the front desk duties, plus payables, plus payroll. I really need to get my organization back. I’ve only had my desk back for a week, so it’s still messier than I like. I am such a neat freak now. It’s sad, lol. Okay, back to Amazing Race, I’m getting tired and want to finish watching it then head to bed.

At least, that’s what I’m hoping for. I’m going to get my hair cut, colored, and highlighted. I’ll have Rachel take pictures and I’ll post them. I still need to post the San Diego pictures. I’ll get moving on it! Promise!
