We all want to be somebody

Well, I’d like to think so anyway. It seems that everyone has that big dream. You know, the one where you want to be famous and known for what you love. When do we give up on that dream? When do we decide that it’s better to make money and that’s okay? We all have to survive but why is it that it seems to come with so many strings attached. You can fight your dreams or live them. It rarely seems to work out the way we hope.

I’m just an ordinary girl. I used to think I was something special, but really, I’m just me. I don’t have a problem with that. I love my life. I even love my choices. But when did I have to grow up? I wish I had never lost my wonderous childhood thinking. I want to be invincible, charismatic, appealing, silly, and full of wonder. When do we lose all that? Oh well, here’s to life! I hope that everyone takes the time today to find a piece of that child-like attitude that we’ve thrown away as adults. I’m still searching for it. If you find yours, let me know. :)

    I agree with you…

Plus children seem to loose their childhood so much earlier now then we did as kids. Makes me so sad.
