Looks like it’s all over

…for now anyway. My little brother has apperantly broken up with his girlfriend. Yeah, the psycho chick. No word on when he broke up with her though. So I don’t know if he was party to her bizarre behaviour or not. So, Mike, there ya go as an answer. :) In related news, she called and left two extremely scary whispery type messages on my cell telling me that she had killed my brother in various ways, mainly being shot to the head since he was going to kill her anyway. I’m saving the messages and hoping to do something with them at some point. I’d like to find a way to transfer them to the internet and let y’all hear them. They’re very “different” to say the least.

We’ll have to wait and see what other drama my brother cooks up in his life. As my drama dies down, his seems to ramp up. Ugh.

Zacky’s Surgery Update

Tuesday, November 29th, 2005

We took Zack in for another surgery today. Actually, it was the one that had been postponed from earlier this month when he was ill. Anyway, all went well or as well as could be expected. Sadly, we didn’t get the news we really wanted to hear. We’re told by his surgeon that his eardrum on the left side is extremely weak and elastic-like. This means that a normal ear infection just destroys the thing. And in the past month, Zack’s ear has worsened more rapidly than expected. His surgeon said that if the T-tube doesn’t work, then the next surgery will be drastic and there will be a significant loss of hearing. So much so that Zacky will most likely need a hearing aid in that ear. :( Now we wait and see what these latest developments will mean.

On the other hand, Zack chose to not do gas for this surgery and just stayed awake while they did the IV in his arm. He looked at everything while they were doing it and didn’t cry once. They told us that they’ve never seen a 6 year old take it so extremely well. Usually they don’t stop giving the gas to children until they’re around 12, which is why this was an odd request but not one they haven’t heard before. I guess that a lot of children who go in for multiple surgeries start to hate the gas.

Anyway, long story short, he did well. I’ll keep you posted, as always. :)

I’ve got pictures…

…they just aren’t up yet. I know, I know. Ask Rach, I do have them. And I will put them up. I’m aiming to get some up each day this week. I’m a slacker, I know. For now though, I think I’ll head to bed. And yes, I’ll be fixing the ugly contrast thing tomorrow. :) Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

That’s all I wanted to say! gobble gobble

Yeah, I know…

I’ve been neglecting the site again. I get off early tomorrow! Woot! So, I’m going to do stuff for the site. Finally. And I’ll be getting rid of the scripty font, too. Should be interesting. I’m so glad to finally have the afternoon to do something for me without eight million other things on the agenda!
