Shattered Sun

I work for a place that sells and installs flooring. I get to process lots of paperwork and the like. I don’t know how many of you have bought carpet or flooring, but the manufacturers come up with some odd names for the designs. And a lot of them don’t really make sense in relation to the pattern. Anyway, that’s a tangent. The point of all this is that today, while processing paperwork for a local hospital’s new flooring, I found something very funny.

They’re redoing the radiology department and the carpet they chose to use is Krypton. I read that and just cracked up! Whoever was choosing carpet was totally into the Superman thing, lol.

Zack is too smart. His latest weapon in the war he wages on annoying his brother is using anything an adult says against Sam. Case in point: Sam currently has to bring his school grades up in order to have video and computer games back. Zack is flaunting the fact that he does get to play games. I guess he did it earlier this week and Sam was on top of him telling him to stop. He did it again today when he was angry at me and I told him that he’s grounded for a week. Oooooo, he’s soooo mad at me now! Especially since they have Fall Break this week and he’s got a five day weekend. He deserves it though. Nobody has a right to make their sibling feel an inch tall. I don’t care what the circumstances.

I sat down and started going over the things I need to get done on the websites I maintain. It’s a llloooonnnggggg list, lol. I’m starting with my site, because it’s the simpliest in most ways. You know how it is. It’s like your children or your dog. You can take care of other children or animals, but you know yours the best. I’m hoping to scratch a bunch off today, but the terrors aren’t happy with me. I need a boxing ring for them, I think! :wall:

Random side thought: Why is it I drink liquids much faster through a straw than just the cup? That’s so weird….

I know it’s early, but I’m heading to bed. I’m hella beat. Jayson is working on some book for Asheron’s Call. A scavenger hunt of some sort. I think I’ll have to find the link later to add here. I can’t wait to not be sleepy and work on some websites this weekend!

New Wordpress to drool over. LOL. So, those plans I had to actually revamp stuff tonight will probably be put on hold til tomorrow. I did download the latest version. I just don’t feel like installing it. Plus, I’m tired. I think I’m hitting the pillows at 9 tonight. Scary, I know.

Plus, I was found by some long lost friends! Yea, me! Russ and Venus are friends from about 2 years ago and we lost touch. Happenchance had it where Russ was still on my AIM buddy list and I was still on his and Sunday night, we were actually online at the same time! Totally cool, I tell ya.

In other news, tomorrow is National Depression Screening Day. So, think about getting screened or help someone you think might be depressed get screened. Only good can come of it! Btw, find a local site near you.
