Over here we have doctors that are open on a weekend but you sorta dont go to em unless you are so sick you cant move, they are usually the doctors that didnt get the high marks at uni (my opinion) they sorta dont listen to you like a normal doctor would and sometimes give you stuff that dosent work.. I hope you feel better soon. And as for weekend doctor's, our kid's doctors' clinic is open till 9pm Mon.- Fri., and noon on Saturdays. But I don't know of any family doctors that are open weekends. There is always the small urgent care type clinics around, but you never see the same doctor twice and that's not very helpful for consistent care.
