Shattered Sun

I find it appalling that we devote so much time to who’s getting married and who’s losing weight. I mean, it’s good to know that it’s proven that Mary Kate Olsen is unhealthly thin. Not that anyone really needed the proof, mind you. But I think it’s a piece of thing that will bring it to youths’ attentions. I still think it’s getting too much press time. Much like J. Lo’s wedding. Who really cares? So she’s a habitual marrier (is that a word?) I still think that it’s doomed. She just doesn’t put enough thought into her relationships. Of course, neither do a lot of people who get married nowadays but that’s neither here nor there.

I guess I should get back to work. That is what they pay me for, eh?

It sucks to be working part time for one place and then coming home and still doing your freelance. Or at least trying to get some freelance work. But it rocks to have a consistant paycheck every week. I don’t really get the time to play Asheron’s Call anymore and I’m not sure I’ll be able to make the time for it. It sucks, to be sure. But what do you do? There are only so many hours in the day and you can’t get more of them. And I like sleeping. It’s one of those things that just makes me happy. (Well, not so much right now. I need to go out this weekend and buy new sheets. All the sheets I have for it are getting “rough” and scratchy.)

They’ve upped my hours at work too, so I’m going to be doing 30.5 hours each week. Not bad for a part time job. When the terrors get back, we’ll have to see how it works out with them.

Cripe, gotta scoot. No one has cleaned the ferret cage and it’s getting a bit rank. Guess I should clean it out before I head to the store, eh? I’m hungry and I’m being lazy tonight. There’s no one here to cook for but me. And I ain’t cookin’ for meself! :knockout:

What’s this world coming to? It’s been almost a week since I posted. I know, it’s a horrible thing. I meant to post last night, but got caught up in working on someone’s site and didn’t get to it. Likely story, I know. Anyway, I did go to the doc on Friday of last week and get some antibiotics. I have Sinusitis again. One more case of it before November and I’ll be getting xrays done. I’m not real thrilled with that. To help prevent that I’ve started taking Clarinex. Of course, my insurance doesn’t cover it so I’m paying for it out of pocket. It’s not bad but I can think of other things I’d rather spend $70 on in a month.

:fever: I’m a sickie again and this time, I’ve been fighting it tooth and nail because I can’t miss work. It’s stupid sinuses again, too. Remember a while back, how I got that nasty sinus infection? Totally feels the same way. Achy dead body, preassure, headaches, sore throat, fever, the works. Contacts are FUN with sinus pressure, in case you don’t know.

And what sucks is that I only have non-drowsy stuff here. I want the good, knock-me-out-so-I-can-sleep pills! When Jayson gets home from work, we’re heading to Eckerd so that I can stock up til Friday. I called my doc today and the earliest they can get me in is Friday afternoon. Talk about torturing my family since I’m a PITA when I’m sick. :censor:
