Shattered Sun

Speaking of my husband, that is. Last night, I was tired and I laid down for a nap around 7:30pm. I hadn’t done the dishes yet, but asked him to wake me up at 9, so that I could get them done. He tried waking me up and I just couldn’t drag myself out of bed. So, he did the dishes for me. He loathes doing the dishes. I was so grateful. And, to top it off, he played nurse to our roomie, too. He’s a good guy.

Isn’t it always the little things that matter?

I tease my youngest that he’s my own little Stitch, and the above quote really fits him, lol. I really do love him, but sometimes…

ROFL! Trish, you be the best honey, I laughed so much that my tummy hurt!

Hehe… She prefaced it by telling me: “When i read this joke it reminded me of you with all your little bits of paper and notes around, just can’t see you doing the alcohol bit though” Hehe… I really wouldn’t do all that and I don’t smoke, but it’s still too funny.

Actually, I’m feeling better now. I made a miscalculation in my Effexor count and couldn’t get it refilled til today. So I went about four days without it. That was the worst idea I’ve ever had in my entire life. Someone shoot me the next time I figure a few days won’t kill me. Okay, so it didn’t exactly kill me, but it was awful! I’m feeling much better now that I have it back in my system and my headache has finally gone away! Woot! Now, I’m going to finish watching Lilo & Stitch with the wee munchkin and if I’m still awake when it’s done, I might just get to work on the stuff I haven’t been able to focus on.

Or something like that. Currently, on my to-do list, I have way too many “little things” that need to be done on various sites, so that’s what’s happening today. Well, that’s what I’m attempting. No AC, no fun beyond the gibberish that is emailing between Rachel and me, lol! How are y’all spending your Thursday?
