Call it my current addiction

Monday, March 15th, 2004

I am soooo addicted to Roller Coaster Tycoon. I know, I know, it’s old. It’s been out since the late 90s. Yeah, it’s a total knock off of the Sim series but it’s so much fun! It’s got grossness (people vomit on the walkways), design (almost everything can be designed personally), and loads of fun. If it weren’t so complicated, I’d let my terrors play it, but they just ask a million questions and I end up playing for them. :) But I love it, it’s eating into my time, and the to-do list isn’t getting any shorter. I am getting my stuff in real life done, but the internet stuff is definitely suffering! As is Asheron’s Call! LOL, now you know my deep dark secret. You knew something was amiss, didn’t you? ;)

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to beat Mothball Mountain to open up another scenerio. Yeah, I’m that sad, lol!

Spring Break!

Monday, March 15th, 2004

Yep, it’s Spring Break for my terrors’ school and you know what that means right? In this house, it means fighting, pouting, and tons of brotherly love, lol. Actually, both of them enjoy being able to spend more time together but when they have a week of time together, they get on each other’s nerves. Of course, when they start fighting over everything, they get on my nerves! Sometimes I think that having two boys is punishment for being a terror myself when I was a kid. Of course, who’s to say that having two girls or a girl and a boy would’ve been any better? My friends who have girls generally have just as rough a time as I do, though the girls are much quieter. That makes sense to me since most of the girls are playing house or with dolls and my terrors are busy blowing things up, lol. I can’t imagine a quiet explosion!

My terrors have taught me to pick my battles and be a bit more lax about the noise level. So if no one’s sleeping, they only have to keep it to a dull roar. ;) And to think, my mom says I’ll miss them when they move out. :grin2:

No more losing your hair…

Monday, March 15th, 2004

Wow, they’ve discovered a cure for baldness. Not that baldness even runs in my family, but I know quite a few people who fear losing their hair. I think that’s slick, even if only for the research end of it. Who knew curing baldness could be quite so simple?
