Woot! Narnia, here we come!

Wow, how cool is it that Nicole Kidman is going to be the White Witch and is set to start filming in July!? Totally awesome! I love C.S. Lewis, and really enjoyed the Narnia books. I hope though, that they do them right and not a half fast job. I much prefer waiting for a good enactment of the books than pay to see a cruddy movie and know that there won’t be another one. My only fear is Disney being in control. I’m not a big fan of the ways they change stories to suit them. :(

Jasmine Trias

I caught her singing on the call in show (not that I called, I was busy) but I like her voice, loved her daring choices, and simply adored her defiant attitude. Heck, she didn’t even really get insulted by Simon. What he said to her was minor stuff that wasn’t even worth retyping, lol. Anyhow, I got to thinking today that I hope she makes it. She’s got talent but more importantly, she has the gumption to be who she knows she is. That’s more than can be said for most 17 year old out there.
