I’m blind!

Well, sorta, anyhow. I broke my glasses today. I have been meaning to get new ones anyhow, but they can be mighty expensive (to the tune of $400). But, they’re broken, so I’m partially blind and headachy now. My vision sucks without my glasses. I was bit by a dog when I was young and so I have 20/200 in that eye and 20/100 in the other. Yep, coke bottle lenses! :) Anyhow, I’m sitting here straining my eyes to type and I should probably head to bed instead. I am going to see if it would be possible to pull off and appt with my eye doc tomorrow instead of Monday. I thought I could wait til Monday, but being blind for the weekend doesn’t sound like much fun. :P

    AWK! You sound like D. When we went to CA 3 years ago, we hadn’t been IN CA for 3 hours and his brand new glasses broke. We had to waste an entire day getting new ones :( Man that ticked me off LOL but he can’t see 2 feet in front of him and so it had to be done.

    Good luck getting in!! You can’t go to one of those Lense Crafter places huh?

    you poor thing no glasses, i know how hard it can be without having any, luckily i can change mine 2-3 years, i feel for you having to try to lead a normal life and doing all the normal things with wanted to just go lie down and close your eyes
