Fingerprints

When I design, I tend to attempt the shorthand methods of CSS which means that I use margin: 2px 4px 1px 3px; instead of writing each margin out. Of course, to prevent confusion (in myself), I tend to use my monitor to remember the order. So if you ever walk in my house and find me touching my monitor in the order of top-right-bottom-left, you’ll know why!

(And I hope that I’m not the only one who does odd stuff like that, lol!)

Knotted Ring of Gold

The rings done by Loren Damewood are just mesmorizing. Simplistic and beautiful, they speak volumns for a lost art. Every ring is perfect imperfection, which is a uniqueness that I find thrilling. I would love to be one of the proud owners of some of his Matched Sets. Everyone is always looking for that unique wedding band, and I think these truly fit the bill.

If you aren’t wanting rings, he also makes nacklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Just breath taking work. If anyone’s interested, I really want the first ring on this page. It’s only $837 for a size six. Not that I’m certain I wear a size six, but that’s got to be the smallest I am, lol. ;)

On a side note, I’d love to redesign his site from tables to CSS. I think it would really showcase his work more. Maybe I can do it as a test project and if I like it, send it to him, lol. :)
