Love is in the Air
Friday, February 13th, 2004Ah, Valentines Day. It’s the one day of the year that is supposed to be more romantic than any other. It’s almost that special day and the mood is definitely in full swing. I don’t think that the surprise same sex marriages were romantic, but damn, bet the couples are estatic. Kudos to San Fran for going against the stupidity of the laws and allowing couples to get married. I find it appalling that so many groups are already denouncing the marriages as frauds and all. It’s not really right. These people have just as much of a chance as “traditional” marriages, what’s America’s problem with it? Besides that, they stay together anyhow! Why not let them have something official? My mom isn’t “officially” married but she might as well be. She’s been with the same man for 15 years (at least). Most homosexual couples are the same way. Congrats to all of them that had the chance to make it official yesterday and to those that will be doing it today!
