Visiting the Doc…
Anyone else ever just not feel like going to the doctor? That’s me! I’d stay home and have everything done with a computer if I could. But I can’t, so I get to drive to my doctor for 15 minutes and then pay my new lovely copay of $20 a visit. That’s double the copay I was paying last year. Granted, I switched insurance, but it doesn’t look like I’m benefitting from it anywhere. So far my monthly premiums have gone up as have all the copays and the service is the same as it always was. I also hate going because I never get to go for those visits that give me a clean bill of health, lol. Man, that would rock! Today, I went in and it was originally for an update of Effexor and to see how well that was working for me. It’s working wonderfully, so that was fine. But it hasn’t been solving those days that I just have no energy at all and feel like I haven’t slept for a week. We originally thought that was related to the depression, but it hasn’t changed. Neither Carol or I are wanting to blame it on anything in particular, but after going through my family history a bit more and other symptons, we decided to get some blood work done. So my arms ache now when I move them. They took 9 vials of blood! I’ll know in a month if anything pops up in them.
I sort of hope that nothing shows up but then it’ll feel like I’ll never know why my body doesn’t work right. They still haven’t figured out a cause for me having my children early or for a million other minor things that are wrong with me. LOL, I swear, I’m broken! Can someone find my warranty and get me a replacement body?
I’ll post the results of the blood work in a month, since that’s when I go back for my follow up on it. Was this post totally too much information?
[Oh, and beyond the blood drawing, they also gave me my tetanus shot. Thank goodness it's only every 10 years!]

Hmm ive always thought that when a female is around 16 it is very easy to have a child, cause it is the time when all the hormones and stuff are all working together properly, the older you get the harder it is to have children as certain hormones have slowed down a bit, it also has to do with the foods you eat, so im going to guess that you ate very good food, very healthy and has been menstruating for at least 2-3 years so it happened when it was supposed to, also in the olden days women were meant to have children at the age of 15-16 as they died usually in their 40’s, but then there is the other reason, you and jason where just a randy couple and got together so much for sex that his sperm got into you easily and stayed alive for a long long time, ive read somewhere that it can survive for up to 3 days before it dies.
Going to the doctors over there sounds like a pain over here we still have free visits to our local doctors (only a few charge), so if i get a blood test i go back a few days later and i get my results.
Oh yeah i told mick to send you an e-mail and he said he is not sure of your e-mail address any more, if you know his e-mail or mine send me the address, and i will tell him the address.

Hang in there. I’ve had 10 tubes of blood take twice in the last two months. I know it sucks, but if it helps figure things out it’s worth it. I’m here for you if you need anything. Take care.

That bites the big one that the Effexor doesn’t seem to be a 100% cure-all for you. Having seen my dad and all the drugs hes been on, I can tell you that you are certainly better off than him (he can take drugs like candy that would put any of us on our asses with just a pill because of the tolerance he’s built up), but it is still no fun to have to play around with drugs until you can find the one(s) that work for you. I hope either they don’t find anything and your problems are all psychological (which means your body is OK), yet I kinda hope they do find something so that they can finally treat you for what is wrong.
Take care of yourself during all this, or you might end up meeting me sooner than you think to kick your ass! Nottin but love for you though

Hey there cutie pie :o)
I was wondering if you have tender points on your body. Say around your knee joints, between your shoulder blades, inside your elbow, lower back on the sides, and other main joints? If so, I think you should talk to your doc about fibromyalgia. I am a massage therapist who happens to specialize in such a disease. I too, have a thyroid problem. If I don’t take my meds, I’m like a bitch on wheels. My mom and half sister both have low thyroid as well. Keep me posted. The test for fibromyalgia is easy. The doc just touches parts of your body to see if they are unually tender. You need to meet 8 out of 11 tender points to qualifiy. Again, let me know, I can try to help ease that pain of yours. Breathe deep and be well, my friend…
