The Goodbye Girl

I absolutely can not wait til I see Patricia Heaton in the The Goodbye Girl on TNT. She’s so awesome an actress and quite frankly, the commercials look good. I want to look so beautiful when I’m 45! It’s on this Friday, so you can pencil me out of the internet world for the evening. ;)

She’s 45??? Wow, she looks damn good for a woman at that age… wow. :D

I know! She’s awesome! Of course, I don’t think her job would pay her that well if she didn’t look good.

She has had TONS of nips & tucks & lifts. She’s really open about it, too, which is cool.

“Soon enough, though, Heaton, 45, switches gears and talks about her own plastic surgery, which has included a tummy tuck (much needed, she says, after her four sons were all delivered by cesarean) and an accompanying breast lift. She also raises her chin to show where some loose skin had been lifted.

Plastic surgery is like the big elephant sitting in the Hollywood living room,” she says. “Everyone does it and apparently, no one is supposed to talk about it. I understand privacy, but when women come up to me who’ve also had four kids and cesareans and say ‘My body’s shot, but you look so great,’ I’m not going to lie to them. I probably look better now than I have my whole life, including when I was 15. Some people are cool with the fact that their bodies bear witness to this great thing they produced, their children, and I understand that. But on a personal level, it makes me feel better that my breasts are not down to my knees when I’m undressed in front of my husband.”

I’m glad she’s honest about and I’m not a bit shocked. In Hollywood, the way you look determines your job and pay. As far as I’m concerned, she’s investing in her future. Heck, I’d love to get some surgery done!
