First Cross Stitch of the New Year

Done for Jason’s birthday from Dragon Dreams. Jennifer does some beautiful designs and since Jason is such a huge dragon fan, I’m sure I’ll be buying some of them through out the year. :D

My project goal for this year is 30 stitched designs in prep for Christmas/Birthdays/Babies, etc. :) Should be entertaining to do except for the whole cramping fingers from backstitching. I loathe backstitching.

    Very clever you are missy, i know all the hard work you would have put into that. hiding it from jason must have been hard while trying to sew it all

    Yeah, but he knew it was for him when I wouldn’t show it to him, lol! I’m not very good at being sneaky… I need to try harder, lol!

    Wow, you did that in a short amount of time! It looks great, wish I had the patience to sit and do that.

    What I did to finish it was watch movies while doing the backstitching! Backstitching is such a brainless job really, it’s like tracing something, just with thread. :) As for the sitting part, well, I find the whole thing relaxing. It’s a nice little escape. ;)
