Thirteenth Colony
If the following is a bit hard to follow, it’s almost 3 am and I’m tired.
So, enjoy the rambling!
I love the Sci Fi Channel. It has to be my favorite channel on the television.
I just got done watching Battlestar Galactica and it rocks my world. That was an awesome remake and I hope & pray that they make it a permanent series. It’s just amazing and wonderful and awe inspiring. I love how Starbuck is a chick who kicks ass and takes names later. I don’t know who the gal playing her is, but she’s got some talent. I hope to see more of her in the future in other projects. I really enjoyed the little details that I don’t remember from the original series. It’s always the little things that make it that much more interesting for me. I remember feeling the same way about the way they redid Dune. (I’d comment on Children of Dune but I haven’t seen it yet. I need to buy the DVD.) I do have a rant though, and if you haven’t seen the second half and don’t want to see a spoiler, don’t read on.
Consider yourself warned! I hate how they showed Sharon to be a Cylon at the very end. I loved her character and really detest how she’s one of the sleeper cylons who supposedly has no idea what’s going on. I can’t see how she could stay in character otherwise. And it completely fits since the blonde chick mentioned that to the good doctor. It’s a bit annoying when creators take a good character and destroy it in some way. I’m sure the point was something profound like we don’t know our enemies that well and if they were among us, we wouldn’t have a clue. That’s true. I mean, if the blonde chick was sleeping with a genius for two years and he didn’t have any idea that she was a cylon, it’s safe to say that we’re all pretty clueless. It’s sad though. Of course, I could be completely wrong and she could know she’s a cylon but pretending so that she can fit in and in the end destroy the human race. Goodness only knows. Damn, I can’t wait for the series. There just HAS to be one. Because I’m loving the flawed characters and nuances and can’t wait to see where they take this story along the blurred lines of good and evil.

Breath in…….and release….
Damn, you really love this little miniseries! lol. Just goes to show you how boring I am, I hardly ever watch TV
This show looked good though, from the previews I saw, so maybe I’ll rent it when it comes out
Dune was one movie I have been wanting to watch the new version of in its entirety…I saw part of it when they did a miniseries of that as well, but I only saw part
(and no, I haven’t seen the old version). Children of dune is on my list too :P.

I had to make a tough choice between watching this show or football. Football won out, lol. Maybe it’ll be on again soon.

I loved SCI-FI Channel when I had the premium cable. Now I can’t even watch Dragonball Z on Cartoon Network.
Anyway, I don’t know which character she is in Battlestar Galactica, but Grace Park is a babe! Heh.
