Ha! Now eat the crust!
I bookmarked this while I was sick and meant to post about it and kept forgetting to.
Anyway, it’s a great little article about Old Wives Tales. I enjoyed it and will be using it as proof that I can crack my knuckles without giving myself arthritis.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to lying to my kids.

I’ve always thought that “sitting too close to the television is bad for your eyes” was true… lol

Old Wives Tales
It’s like something else our parents used to tell us: Too much…
I’ve always thought that sitting too close to a television and reading a book under dim lighting were bad for your eyes, but this article, which I got from Denise, says otherwise.

Aha! My mom was wrong, but not about the TV thing. I like to read in the semi-dark, you know, when the light is fading from the day and there are no lights on in the house. And every time without fail, she’d put a light on and tell me if I continued to strain my eyes to read I’d go blind. “And we can’t afford new glasses!”
“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to lying to my kids.”
lol.
