AIDS Walk Arizona

Sunday, November 9th, 2003

I did it. It wasn’t long at all being that the 5k. That’s 3.1 miles for those that don’t do metric. ;) Anyway, I don’t know how long it took us to finish, but our group did amazing with a dog, 2 children (mine!), and a very pregnant woman. Jennifer is 7.5 months pregnant and has the honor of being the last person who crossed the finish line today. I’m beyond impressed. She was beautiful and didn’t complain an ounce. We stopped a lot, obviously, but I don’t know many women in their third trimesters who would have gone today. Kudos to Jennifer because she’s just that darn inspiring.

AIDS Walk Arizona

Just say “Wow”

Tonight was amazing and completely wonderful! And I should be in bed right now but instead, I’m up writing this entry and trying to relax a little bit before heading that way. It was an evening of no children and one wonderful person for company! :) Anyway, we went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner. Can you say “Yum”? I am the worst person at eating out and sticking to my calorie count. So tonight, there were no calories, lol!

Anyway, the meal was amazing and I even had some lovely Blue Lagoon Margaritas since they were 2 for 1 priced. I am such a sucker for Margaritas! Anyway, after that we went to see Matrix Revolutions, which rocked my world. Great movie. Has all the core elements of love, turmoil, friendship, gore, and of course, great effects. Just amazing. Okay, off I go… I have to troll and then fall asleep so that I can run off all the calories that I consumed off tomorrow. Love y’all!
