1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why? Shania Twain is my fave because her music is something I can listen to on any occasion. I love the versatility she has with her music.

2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why? Offhand, I can’t think of one person or group in particular that drives me nuts. I’ll get back to you on that.

3. If your favorite singer wasn’t in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person? Yes. I happen to agree with Shania’s outlook on life in general, her choices with her siblings, her husband, and her child. Heck, I even love her business sense and the fact that she’ll just go out on a limb. She’s human instead of being celeb.

4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show? I have never been to any real concerts. As a matter of fact, I have been to a bunch of shows. You know, the informal, small gatherings that are loads of fun? That’s what I tend to go to. When Shania’s Up! Tour comes to town, I hope to go to that.

5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music? I think that if the music is out there, it should be listened to. I don’t think that it really stops people from buying the CDs. People realize that the artists are making money off the CDs and are usually supportive enough to do the right thing. But sometimes you just don’t know if you’re going to like something and being able to listen to you it might sway you into buying the full CD instead of solely the single. A few bad apples should not ruin the cart. As for the RIAA, I disagree with the people they are going after. Don’t go after children or teenagers. Because they really are your market base. Why the hell would you want to make them fearful of listening to music? Like they don’t have enough on their minds as is. Silly RIAA.
