Two for Tuesday
- Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
Mrs. Rinks was my favorite. She was an English Lit teacher and she could be mean. She had a strong work ethic and didn’t mince words. Most people didn’t really like being in her class. But that’s because for her, it wasn’t about making it fun, it was about the student learning all s/he could learn. She pushed me harder than any teacher I had before and since her. Teachers like her are one in a million.
- Do you have a memorable moment from highschool? What was it? Whether it was scoring the winning touchdown or falling down the bleachers…share with us.
For me, the most memoriable moment I had was junior prom. It was the most fun I ever had with my little group of friends. We had a blast. We went out to dinner before hand, then went to prom, then went to play putt putt. A couple of us hung out til the wee hours and it was just fulfilling. Lots of laughter and giggles. All in all, a perfect night. (Another note, I was proposed to that night and though we broke it off later, it really was a picturesque scene.)
