Weekly Wrapup #66
What was the first Disney movie you remember seeing? How did you like it? The very first I remember was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and I was soooo scared of the witch. She was just so evil. And when I watched it recently (they just re-released it within the last year), I was more surprised that more children weren’t frightened. But I loved the story.
What was your favorite Disney movie as a child? Why? Lady and the Tramp because I’ve always been a romantic and that is just about the most romantic movie ever done. Come on, tell me what’s not to love about it?
What is your favorite Disney movie now? Why? The Emporer’s New Groove because I think it’s the first movie that they’ve made that can be completely enjoyed by both adult and child! Talk about funny! And when my terrors ran around the house quoting it and acting out the scenes, I just never got tired of it.
What Disney character(s) do you most identify with? Why? Lilo has to be the one I identify with most. She’s always misunderstood by the general populace but always very loved. That’s me. Misunderstood a lot but very, very loved. And better is how in the end, Lilo finds that she has her own ecletic little family. I have that too. And I love my family and friends. I think I’m a much better person knowing them.
Describe your ideas for the next Disney movie (animated or live-action). To be honest, I don’t have any. Every time they do a movie, I’m happily surprised at the story line or animations. I think that it’s a simple thing to just love something and not try to make it better. That includes figuring out it’s furuter.

1 - First Disney movie was Peter Pan. I loved it, wanted to be a Lost Boy for the longest time.
2 - Peter Pan, again cause I wanted to be a Lost Boy.
3 - Treasure Planet, I loved the whole sailing through space concept. It was just cool.
4 - Jim Hawkins, he’s got all kinds of potential, but never fully realizes it until he’s pushed into it. I’ve always been told that I have tons of potential, just sometimes my drive tends to not get me to it reach it.
5 - I’ve never given much thought to Disney movies. They’ve all been really good, so until they make a bad one, I’m not going to try and come up with one of mine.
