Define Normal

Wednesday, July 30th, 2003

I was just hanging around Marie’s site and loved her entry about the Illinois Govenor wanting to live in his home instead of the Govenor’s Mansion. I don’t think that’s such a bad idea. I mean, I think it’s disruptive for the neighborhood that he chooses to reside in, but come on! Rent the Mansion out or something. :) Why not?

If you’re wondering why he wants to remain in his house, it’s all for his 6 year old daughter. I think it rocks that he’s trying to keep life as “normal” as possible for her. It’s such a rarity to see parenting being a priority like he’s making it. :beam:

I’m very much into music and I find that it really drives home certain thoughts. There’s this song that a friend of mine dedicated to me a while ago and every once in a while, he’ll just resend me the lyrics. I think it’s his way of letting me know that he still thinks of me and I’m in his heart. View the rest of this entry for the lyrics to 3 AM by Truckers on Speed. (more…)

Woot! I made page 4!

Wednesday, July 30th, 2003

That might sound odd to those that have no idea what’s going on, but I made page 4 of Tol’s Circumnavigation of Dereth. :) It is a great honor to be part of his story.

And Tol, I’d be happy to travel along side you wherever your path takes you. :smitten:

Zackery at Work

Wednesday, July 30th, 2003

My mother sent me an email that just told me loads about my youngest terror! If I haven’t mentioned it recently, I’m so grateful to be a mother. This just reminds me why!

Anyway, here’s the text of the email, and if you want to see the photo, click the “more” link to this entry!

Zack today took my old key board, put it in a TV table tray. This in itself is not funny but he “plugged ” the end of the keyboard into(under) the microwave. He also set up a stool to sit on and now has his own computer to work at. (more…)
