Weekly Wrapup #61
- Do you like to indulge? Why or why not? How does indulging mean something to you that it might not mean to others? I like to indulge, but I limit myself a lot. I’d rather indulge once in a while and really enjoy it then indulge all the time. I believe that everyone has a different view of indulgence and of course my definition is limited. I believe that when you indulge, you do something solely for your benefit. It’s something to make you feel good and you kind of disregard how it effects others. Most indulgences aren’t harmful to others, it’s just that you might not take other schedules and such into account.
What is the most indulgent thing you ever bought for yourself? For someone else? Why did you buy it? For myself: Bath and Body Works in Raspberry. The whole line, basically. Cost me a lot of money, but it was sooooo nice.
For someone else, I indulged someone with their video game habit. This meant that we got a PS2, multiple PS1s, and tons of games to boot. I bought those things because it made him happy and that means the world to me.A friend or loved one buys you a day of pampering at a local salon. What elements do you most look forward to experiencing? Why? I think I’d look forward to a facial the most. My skin is always so irritated by life and it’d be wonderful to experience it soft and sweet with no irritation.
