Whispers
Thursday, June 26th, 2003You know, I have a normally bright and cheery outlook. Usually I try to look for the good in people and I try not to go by the impression that someone else has given me about a person before I meet them. I just think it’s fair and just. Anyway, that’s not my point. My point is that I wish that people would have the same respect for all. If you’re going to say bad things about someone, say it to their face, too. Why not? They’re going to hear about it anyway. As it is, when you just talked about people behind their backs, they feel hurt that you couldn’t just tell them. To me, it’s just simplier to tell someone the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts, but you get over the pain. And if there is something that’s wrong with you, if someone tells you, you’ll not only correct it, but be grateful after the pain is over. Just my two cents on it. (To note: This isn’t a complaint against any one person. It’s been happening to a lot of people I know, including me.)
