Weekly Wrapup #57
This is soooo late… lol, but the new one isn’t up, and I LOVE this little theme.
Do you like summer? Why or why not? I love Summer!!! It’s got to be the best time of year. What’s best about it is the sunshine. I never get enough of the sunshine.
What is your favorite summer activity? Why? Swimming! It’s just wonderful to be in the water and to be able to get out and not be cold. When you get out of the water here, you almost instantly dry. It’s very cool.
What is your favorite summer destination? Why? The best place to visit this time of year is the Oregon coast. It’s very rocky up there and quite chilly, but this time of year, it’s beautiful because it’s warm enough to get in the water. And the sun’s shining and there’s not a whole lot of grey clouds everywhere.
What are your summer plans for 2003? None. Literally, nothing this year. My children are going to be spending the entire summer with their Nana, which leaves me to be all alone. It’ll be a very nice break though, and they are going to love it.
Would you be in favor of rotating long breaks for school-aged kids so that there aren’t as many out at the same time during summer? Why or why not? I would not be in favor of it because I think that it’s good for the children to be able to get out at the same time and get together. For my children, they get to see their cousins, and if they got out of school at different periods, they would never get the chance. Especially since they live in different states.
