  1. What was your favorite book as a child? Why? Where the Wild Things Are because it’s just amazing that he can join such a fearsome land and do everything that I always wanted to do to get away.

  2. How often did you read as a child? Describe your preferred reading area or situation. I tended to read a few times a month. When I read, I like to read without distractions, so my bedroom tends to be the spot. It’s always been that way. I lie on my bed and just read away the hours. (more…)

Endometriosis Revisited

So, I finally have the date and time of my surgery. I’m not really looking forward to it. I mean, beyond the obvious reason of being put under and then recovering afterwards, I also have to be prepared for the fact that this may not be the end. There are so many questions that should be answered but so many more that could be raised. I’m praying for good news. I guess that it comes down to being a double edged sword. :/ Have I mentioned my distaste for double edged swords? (On a side note, I love real swords, just not proverbial ones. :) )

Anyway, think happy thoughts for me! I’m trying to think happy positive thoughts, too! ;)

Religions

And remember, just because my top one says 100% doesn’t mean that everyone in that religion has my beliefs. To date or not to date…

That is indeed the question. It seems like all the nice guys out there are taken. I know, I know. That sounds so cliche, but it’s kind of true. And this may sound silly, but I’d love to be in a nice relationship where the guy didn’t immediately confess undying love just to find out later that he’s a moron and wasn’t in love but in lust. That’s the other issue I seem to be having with guys. They’re all interested in sex but when it comes to a relationship, they bail. Is it too much to ask for a nice guy who doesn’t want to get me in bed on the first date? I swear, dating must have been invented by the devil because it sure does suck. :devil: (more…)
