Monday means that the weekend is over. Not that I’ve ever worked a normal work week and had a weekend off, but hey, that’s what I hear.

Okay, he’s getting so big! Jason took Sam and Zack swimming today at some pool with a diving board. Now, Sam has always wanted to go off the diving board, but he’s usually just too little. This time he went and took the swim test that they give you to see if you can handle the deep water and he passed!! So now he can jump off the diving boards!! I am so proud of him!

My children’s father is a gigantic Linkin Park fan but just recently bought Meteora. I would guess that he plays it pretty excessively though, since my almost 8 year old is singing along with the songs! Which brings me to something else, I am getting old! Sam is turning 8 in about 2 weeks!! I can not believe that he’s that old. No way. Not happening. Anyone got a way to keep them young? He’s already at the age where it’s uncool to give mom any love in public. And forget holding hands, he’s too cool for that, too. :: sigh :: I miss my baby…
