Children & the PS2

My children seem to be addicted to the PS2. If they could, they would spend every waking moment sitting in front of the television playing Spyro. :| I wish that they’d get out more without my prodding and without having a hissy everytime. I can remember when my parents would limit how long I was in front of the television, and I used to have a hissy, too. Of course, now that I’m a mom, I can appreciate what they were trying to do. There has got to be an easier way of getting them off the couch and into their imagination.

That is why I plan to get rid of the TV when I do have my own kids. TV can be very bad influence for some kids.

    I am very tempted!

    How old are your children?

By the way, you should make this comment page a popup. I think it’s more convenient that way.

One is 8, the other is 4. :) And I’m in the middle of editing the site still, so this isn’t the comments page I’ll be using. I prefer no popups, but you’ll be able to navigate better from this page (and any other archive-like pages) once I finish the major site redos. :)
Back to popup comments. I don’t really prefer them, but… I have to fiddle with the individual archive page to get it to go back to the same page instead of the monthly archive page. :: sigh :: :annoyed:
