Stolen Buttons, oh my!

Saturday, May 17th, 2003

 Thanks to a series of little jumps, I landed on Disarranging Mine and started reading. The first entry was about her quest for buttons and her eventual find of Steal These Buttons. I am not only going to steal myself some buttons, but I’m going to create some, too. Totally awesome site. And Disarranging Mine is a nice read, too. Definitely going on the ol’ blogroll.

Even the ones who should know better

Sometimes I wonder when people will get the idea and actually give credit for other people’s hard work. Especially when the designer has been nice enough to include the backlink in the design. I was reading through kadyellebee and her latest post just hit a point with me. Sarah Lane should know better. She should know that giving credit is essential and just plain good karma. Anyway, read the original post that sent me off on my itty bitty commentary:

Children & the PS2

Saturday, May 17th, 2003

My children seem to be addicted to the PS2. If they could, they would spend every waking moment sitting in front of the television playing Spyro. :| I wish that they’d get out more without my prodding and without having a hissy everytime. I can remember when my parents would limit how long I was in front of the television, and I used to have a hissy, too. Of course, now that I’m a mom, I can appreciate what they were trying to do. There has got to be an easier way of getting them off the couch and into their imagination.
