Blogchalk

Wednesday, November 27th, 2002

Before I blogged, I did just simple websites. But I’ve always wondered about the people who also have these little places on the net. I mean, where are they from, age, etc, etc. And wouldn’t it be cool if the person next door did a website and I looked at it? It would bring a little personal closeness to the net. In that effect, I found this great website BlogChalk that allows you to search based on location and such. It’s a great idea and this is my new blogchalk:
United States, Arizona, Phoenix, Sunnyslope, English, Female, 21-25. :)

Kind of like Fortune Telling

I’m not sure if I believe this little site, but it is kinda cool in a bizarre way. wink The Acrophonology site suggests that your name is fate and not just a whimsy of your parents. According to them, my name is a complete description of me. It’s not bad, but for kicks I put in a few people’s name and they all came out with some very similar descripts. One’s got to wonder about the fiction of it.

What’s the Time?

I have friends from around the world, but a good chunk live in Australia and I never seem to have the time there right. So I found this cool little site that tells me what time it is there and here. Check out my World Clock and get your own! :P

Asheron’s Call 2

Friday, November 22nd, 2002

I love Asheron’s Call because it’s a really thought out game and keeps changing every month. That makes it worth the ten bucks every month. I even like it with the lack of gore and extreme content. Asheron’s Call has a Teen rating (with and without the Dark Majesty expansion). That means that you could trust a 13 year old to play this without having to worry about dementing his mind. I find it intriguing that Asheron’s Call 2 is not considered much more than eye candy by most players I know and it comes with a Mature rating. So they’re saying that you should be 17 years old to play a computer game. Does anyone else find this a bit messed up? Is it a selling point to put an M on it? I must live in my own little world. I think that there are plenty of games out there that are M rated and not nearly enough that aren’t. :(

Just goes to show…
